A Birthday to Remember: The True Meaning of Prosperity

February 5th 2025 was a day I will never forget. It started like any other, but what unfolded was a beautiful reminder of what truly matters in life—connection, joy, and the people who genuinely care about us.

Unbeknownst to me, my best friend Cristina Monti, along with Sabrina, who owns an event company, had been secretly orchestrating a surprise party. The venue? Sabores restaurant in London, a place that soon became the setting of one of the most heartwarming nights of my life.

As I walked in with my kids, my sister, and my flatmate, I was completely unaware of what awaited me. The moment I stepped inside, a wave of pure emotion hit me—there they were, my closest friends, all gathered to celebrate my existence. The energy in the room was electric, filled with warmth, love, and an unmistakable sense of togetherness.

What made it even more special was that the entire theme of the party was inspired by the Prospera project. Everything was decorated in black and yellow, reflecting the essence of what I’ve been building. And as if by perfect alignment, I was wearing a yellow T-shirt with a personalized Captain Prospera logo, a gift my sister had just brought from Brazil. It was as if every detail had been orchestrated by fate, bringing everything together in a way that felt so right, so meaningful, so connected to my journey.

The night was filled with incredible live music, performed by truly talented singers who added soul to every note. The cake—oh, the cake! A divine combination of pineapple and coconut, one of my all-time favorite flavors, making every bite a taste of nostalgia and joy. But more than the music, the food, or the venue, it was the atmosphere that made the night unforgettable. It reminded me of my childhood in Brazil, where street carnivals were filled with pure, unfiltered joy. Back then, celebrations weren’t about extravagance, selfies, or social media validation. They were about connection—singing along, dancing together, sharing laughter, and simply living in the moment. That’s what I felt at my party. No unnecessary extravagance, no distractions—just the raw beauty of happiness, the kind that doesn’t need validation from an online audience.

Looking around at today’s world, I can’t help but feel that celebrations have changed. Parties today often revolve around status—who has the best outfit, the most Instagram-worthy setting, or the highest number of likes. People are more focused on capturing the moment rather than living it. But that night, surrounded by the people who truly matter, I was reminded that the greatest gift in life is not wealth, fame, or material possessions, but meaningful relationships. Because what is prosperity if your house is empty? What is success if you have no one to share it with? True wealth is not in your bank account—it’s in the hearts of the people who stand by you, who celebrate you for who you are, not what you have.

That night, I felt blessed beyond measure. Not because of the surprises, the cake, or the music (though they were amazing), but because I was reminded that I am surrounded by love. In a world where it’s easy to get lost in the pursuit of material success, we must never forget that real prosperity lies in the connections we nurture, the joy we share, and the memories we create with those who matter most.

As I reflect on this special day, I carry with me a renewed sense of gratitude—for friendship, for love, and for the simple, beautiful gift of being surrounded by people who truly care. Because in the end, that is what life is really about. Here’s to celebrating authentic joy, true connections, and a life filled with real prosperity.
